Safety Technician/Engineer

With a high sense of responsibility and putting safety and health at work non-negotiable, the Technical Office provides Safety Technician services for businesses and construction sites.

Companies that employ even one employee, have an obligation according to law 3850/2010 to use the services of a Security Technician.

The Safety Technician provides the employer with advice and advice, in writing and orally, on issues related to occupational health and safety and the prevention of accidents at work and the response to emergencies.
Particularly:

- Advises on issues of planning, planning, construction and maintenance of facilities, introduction of new production processes, supply of means and equipment, selection and control of the effectiveness of personal protective equipment, as well as configuration and arrangement of jobs and work environment and general organization of production procedure.
- Checks the safety of the facilities and technical means, before their operation, as well as the production processes and working methods before their application.
- Supervises the implementation of occupational health and safety measures and the prevention of accidents, informing the relevant heads of departments or the management of the company.
- Regularly inspects jobs in terms of occupational health and safety, reports to the employer any omission of health and safety measures, proposes measures to address it and oversees their implementation.
- Supervises the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Supervises the execution of fire safety and alarm exercises to determine the readiness to deal with accidents.
- Informs and guides the employees to prevent the occupational risk posed by their work.
